This software package is being developed in cooperation with AASHTO and the Turbo Relocation Task Force to support their need for an interactive software product that will assist their users in determining and calculating the relocation assistance benefits that displaced residents and businesses are entitled to under the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970 (Uniform Act) and enabling legislation (49 CFR Part 24).
The project will run 15-months. Main project objectives include:
• | Develop software that is both automated and standardized to the degree appropriate in order to facilitate the calculation of relocation assistance in conformance with the requirements of the Uniform Act |
• | Improve efficiency, transparency, and consistency in the determination of relocation benefits |
• | Develop software that is adaptable to state-specific policies and procedures |
The project will be managed by Richard Lieberman, Director EMIS (email: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ), and is supported by Teaming Partners Universal Field Services, Inc. and Pinnacle Consulting Management Group, Inc.
