Mold Investigation, Data Collection, and Remediation
Services
While BEM is often asked to develop action and response plans
focused solely on mold, we encourage large building owners
and property managers to develop a more integrated strategy.
BEM believes mold should be addressed within the overall context
of a facility’s indoor air quality (IAQ) management
practice.
BEM’s depth of personnel and equipment resources allows
us to deliver diverse mold-related services on a nationwide
basis. We offer:
- A full inventory of in-house sampling and analysis equipment,
including a state-of-the-art video-enabled boroscope;
- A network of nationwide offices, each staffed with certified
IAQ-professionals, and
- The ability to provide 24-hour emergency response service
for immediate claim response/oversight.
Our services include:
Assessment/Investigation. BEM’s
team of industrial hygienists and scientists are highly
experienced in locating the potential sources of water
intrusion, identifying and testing for associated molds,
developing plans to remove or remediate mold contamination,
and working with qualified contractors to ensure that
buildings and their content are remediated properly
and safely.
Remediation Consulting. For mold remediation
projects, BEM provides Remediation Design, Project Management
and Oversight, and Clearance Testing.
Prevention Planning And Training. BEM has
delivered basic training on mold contamination to over 500
professionals seeking to better understand and resolve the
problems resulting from water intrusion.
Litigation Support/Expert Testimony. BEM
has provided expert testimony, trial strategy, sampling, analysis,
and regulatory review in support of numerous litigation cases.
